ok. today was very intense. one of our rental sleds was playing submarine bigtime. we went out like every day before, but the warm temperatures over the past two days made it really sketchy out there. the sled track into the backcountry turned within a few hours into a pretty decent river. locals told us that they never saw so much water since five years up here. after the captain of the submarine sank to the ground we tried to get this heavy four stroke machine outta there by ourselves. then maurino almost lost a few fingers and had to go back to the hotel. luckily two guys from narvik passed by and helped us with their 320hp sleds to get the heavy fucker out. BIGUP to ivar and ruben from narvik, thanks alot!!! and if you wonder who was driving the submarine: it was clement with a 16mm backback on his back and kalle sitting on the back of the sled. kalles backback was underwater for more then a hour and guess what was in his backpack: digicam, cellphone, electronic car keys and two kilograms of salt.... awesome.
